Outback Deck installed two back decks for the Parks family that included IRX railing and TimberTech tigerwood decking, both connecting to their kitchen dining room. Their original footprint included a catwalk that connected the two decks to one another, and after conversing with Bryan Miller (co-owner of Outback Deck and solution specialist for the Parks) they decided to remove the catwalk from their new footprint. As many families do, The Parks had multiple contractors send them estimates. Outback was the last contractor on their list, and after a four and a half hour visit from Bryan, the Parks became part of the ‘Outback Family’. The Parks mentioned, “after those four and half hours we were completely sold on Outback and ready to move forward.” Most appointments are shorter than this, however Bryan insisted on answering all the questions the Parks had and finding the best solution to fit their house and their budget.

The Parks said, “the installation took between 3-4 weeks from signing to finish.” This includes a waiting period for the permits to be passed in which the parks also mentioned, “the communication during that time was excellent, we received emails and texts updating us every week at the very least.” One thing the Parks said that initially drove them to moving forward with Outback, was the care they received from everyone in the company. They said this stayed consisted throughout the project and has continued since the project was completed. They feel safe and secure on their deck, but even if they did not, they would not be concerned knowing Outback has their backs.

Here’s what the Parks have to say about their new Outback Deck, “We now have more space for grilling than we did before which we love, the gate to the stairs along with the stairs themselves have been such a great addition, and most importantly we now have clear vision of our backyard. We can see the lake from our kitchen, and we can now watch our daughter jump on the trampoline and know she is safe from inside our house. Before the installation, the only time we would let her jump on the trampoline is if we were out on the deck, so this was a win-win for us all!”
