Deck safety is a primary concern at Outback Deck. We want any deck or porch we build to be a safe place for you and your family. Your labor warranty as stated in your proposal will cover defects in workmanship. These defects are defined as items under the contractor's control (such as installation errors) for the duration of the warranty. Your warranty term begins on the date of your final payment.
Warranty exclusions are defects in wood caused by the "weathering" of wood, including but not limited to raised grain, splitting, checking, twisting, warping, shrinkage, swelling, color change, or any other physical property of wood. The homeowner is responsible for regular maintenance of any wood product to prolong the life and look of the deck or porch. Furthermore, misuse of products, damage caused by natural disasters, improper care and maintenance are also excluded from workmanship warranty. Warranty shall be void on products originally installed by Outback Deck, but subsequently repaired by others.
Some of the products we install carry a manufacturer warranty. If you selected one of those products information about the manufacturer warranty will be listed in your proposal and on their websites, listed here:
We recommend you visit the manufacturer website to register your products as well as review care and maintenance information. Refer to your proposal for the manufacturer(s) for your specific selections.

Please refer to the original terms and conditions in the contract for definition of your warranty. To submit a claim, please submit this warranty claim form (below) along with pictures of the issue and submit it within 48 hours of identifying the issue.
*Please note, if a trip to your home for the warranty claim is performed and the issue is not warrantable, a service charge of $150.00 will be charged.
