The Zoino deck demonstrates the prototypical simple, solid deck – solid construction, durable materials, clean design of the deck and stairs, new concrete pad for the landing of the stairs – as well as some personalized features.

The base is built on 4” x 4” pressure treated posts and supports the deck constructed with 5/8” x 6” pressure treated deckboards.

The new railings feature the standard design – the 2” x 2” pressure treated pickets are nailed directly to the deck and posts.

New poured concrete footings were installed for the posts and a concrete pad to solidify the new stairs, which feature the standard open back design for easy clearing of debris and water runoff.

The unique features of the Zoino deck include a custom-designed gate, an offset design for the upper stair landing, a lattice-enclosed lower area and an underdeck water system, which was reinstalled under the new deck to keep the area dry and free from dirt and debris.
