The Rogers loved making the decision on the style of the pergola, the finishing touches on a new deck system that focuses on entertainment and outdoor living.

The cantilevered support system carries the weight for a number of guests on the lower “patio” level deck.

To create a feeling of separation between the two decks, the decks are offset by 5”, creating a step to enter and exit each deck.

The “upper” deck features the cooking area.

The decks feature colonial railings that are tied into larger 6” x 6” posts, which are used to support the pergola.  The railings feature a “revealed” post on the stairway, leaving open the option for adding lights to the posts.  The upper railing features a “flush” rail.
