Gerstein - Marietta, GA

The Gerstein deck features solid construction from the ground up.

The base is built on 6” x 6” pressure treated posts with double-banding surrounding the entire structure.

New poured concrete footings were installed to solidify the lower portion of the structure, allowing for additional pavers to be installed beneath the deck to control erosion and offer entry into the finished basement.

The deck connects the kitchen and sunroom areas to the outdoors and offers easy access from both areas for entertainment purposes.

The new railing system provides an efficient way to remove debris from above by creating a gap between the lower support and deck boards.

Solar lights were added to the railing posts in order to illuminate the deck and stairway in the dark.

Finally, a waterproof coating was applied to all areas putting the final touches on this beautiful new deck.
