The Eatz multi-deck system completes the house renovation, which includes a new sunroom addition, and demonstrates the fine craftmanship in the construction of the decks.

The upper deck, which is at the same level as the sunroom, wraps around from the front of the house, along the side and all around the room addition.  The decking is handsome Ipe wood and is laid diagonally across all decking surfaces for added interest.

Dominating the upper deck is a custom built stone fireplace and chimney. The 12’ wide fireplace with 17’ tall chimney is flanked by two 4’ x 8’ custom Ipe wood privacy screens, which focus attention on the stacked stone work and provide a tranquil seating area as well as seclusion from next door neighbors. Because Outback Deck constructs decks to the highest standards, the stone fireplace is supported by 6" x 6" posts set on concrete pads.  The joists are 2" x 10" pressure-treated lumber and are hung on galvanized joist hangers.  The entire deck is bolted into the house.

The upper deck also features a stairway to the lower 25’ x 25’ deck provide varied elevations and gathering spaces for outdoor entertainment. The lower deck features an extra-wide stairway down to a ground-level wood landing for easy access to the backyard.

The entire deck system is framed by stainless steel cable railing offers an unobstructed and maintenance-free view of the surrounding landscape and provides a fine-finished look to the entire living space.

Also, the decks and stairs are enclosed with Ipe wood siding.
